Digital Enrichment Cooperative (DECO) is a non-profit community service program developed and sponsored by 3SoftUSA. DECO strives to strengthen the effectiveness of the core services provided by the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board (NVWIB).

DECO complements NVWIB activities by:

• Imparting basic computer skills to technologically challenged people.
• Building confidence in such people that they can perform everyday computerized activities.
• Providing training as a stepping stone for the students so that they can advance further on their own in computer related activities, whether on the job or through further education.
   

More and more, computer education is the difference between employability and obsolescence. The differences in technology access and usage among people of different races, gender, age, education and income levels is widening social and economic gaps throughout our society.

DECO's vision is to empower people at the negative end of the digital divide by providing them equitable and meaningful access to IT training so that everyone in the community steps into the 21st Century together.
